Job Title: Manufacturing Process TechnicianJob Description

The Manufacturing Process Technician supports end-to-end manufacturing operations in a cGMP-regulated environment, focusing on the production of life-saving pharmaceutical products. This role is responsible for executing manufacturing processes, performing in-process testing, completing documentation, and supporting process improvements and validations while maintaining strict compliance with quality regulations and established procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform product manufacturing activities in accordance with established procedures, cGMPs, and quality guidelines.
  • Provide manufacturing support activities, including preparation of materials, equipment, and documentation required for production.
  • Complete routine documentation associated with the manufacture of product accurately, legibly, and in a timely manner.
  • Support in-process activities and product development initiatives as instructed by the supervisor.
  • Incorporate pre-planned process improvements and cost reduction programs into manufacturing operations as directed.
  • Perform area equipment and process validations in accordance with approved validation procedures.
  • Conduct in-process product testing following standard operating procedures to ensure product quality and compliance.
  • Support manufacturing activities in other departments when requested, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Adhere strictly to cGMPs, established manufacturing practices, and all applicable quality regulations and guidelines.
  • Perform all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner in accordance with applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and industry codes.
  • Follow established written instructions and standard operating procedures with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Utilize basic math skills, including the metric system, to perform calculations required in manufacturing and inventory-related tasks.
  • Use computer systems, including basic Microsoft applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), to complete documentation, communication, and reporting tasks.
  • Operate a computerized inventory system, such as SAP, to support inventory tracking and material movements when required.
  • Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts safely to move materials, equipment, and products within the facility as needed.
  • Apply training and knowledge to recognize and manage risks inherent to processing, handling, and storage of hazardous materials.
  • Organize and execute daily work plans effectively, adapting to changes in schedule and production priorities.
  • Communicate clearly in both written and verbal forms to ensure accurate handoffs, reporting, and collaboration.

Essential Skills
  • High school diploma or associate degree or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years of experience, preferably in relevant manufacturing; or a bachelor’s degree in a science discipline with one to three (1–3) years of experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience, preferably in a GMP warehouse or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge of cGMP operations and the ability to adhere to established manufacturing practices and procedures.
  • Ability to understand and execute established written instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Basic math skills, including knowledge and use of the metric system.
  • Basic computer competencies, including Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and document work clearly.

Work Environment

This is an on-site night shift role in a manufacturing facility environment. The position involves regular physical activity, including climbing, balancing, stooping, reaching, standing, and walking throughout the shift. The role requires the ability to push, lift, grasp, use fingers, and feel objects and controls, with lifting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Repetitive movements, including substantial use of wrists, hands, and fingers, are part of daily tasks. Strong visual acuity is needed to perform close activities such as reading, writing, and analyzing information, and to assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of assigned work or make general observations in the work area. The working environment includes exposure to a variety of physical conditions such as noise, close proximity to moving parts and equipment, and exposure to chemicals. Atmospheric conditions may include odors, fumes, and dust. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.21 - $25.21/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
