Job Description
CCI/ Speer is seeking a Manufacturing Programs Administrator to support our operations team through data analysis, reporting, process improvement, and administrative program coordination. This position plays a key role in helping plant leadership monitor performance, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and achieve operational objectives. The successful candidate will be a highly organized and analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys collaborating with teams across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Human Resources to support business success.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

(Experience, education, licenses, certifications, and specific knowledge, skills and abilities required for the position.)

  • B.A./B.S. degree or related experience required
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Proficiency in Microsoft AX and Power BI preferred.
  • Capable of working with an ERP system.
  • Ability to master new and available technical applications.
  • Strong oral, written and formal presentation skills. Ability to work with a variety of professional functions: Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, Quality, Operations, etc., and with various levels within the organization: entry level to senior management.
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities with a willingness to learn and improve processes.
  • Resourceful and able to get work done with little or no supervision.
  • Proven track record of adding more value within the same role over time.
  • Ability to start and follow-though with major assignments and responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

(Fundamental duties necessary to achieve the objective of the position)

  • Extract and analyze data from different systems to track progress toward objectives.
  • Develop reporting on operations metrics relating to daily, weekly, monthly, and annual objectives.
  • Develop reporting on operations metrics relating to long term strategic objectives.
  • Develop an understanding of manufacturing operations (processes, technology, products, employees).
  • Develop systems and structures to facilitate performance improvements and/or proactively identify improvement opportunities.
  • Prepares reports of findings and recommendations to management.
  • Assists the Operations Manager in preparing for Tier Meetings, Monthly Ops Reviews, GEMBA's, and other events as assigned.
  • Create reports and presentations (including charts/graphs) as required.
  • Performs a variety of administrative duties in support of operation activities.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

Physical Requirements: Employee will be sitting a majority of the time, with some walking and standing. Minor lifting objects over 10 lbs, carrying, stooping, and kneeling to access books and reports, to transport paperwork and materials, and to retrieve files. Minor local travel and occasional work outdoors. Manual dexterity for extensive computer work and writing. Hearing, speaking, and vision are required.

Mental Requirements: Must communicate effectively in verbal and written formats. Reading comprehension and basic math skills are a requirement. Flexibility to effectively deal with a variety of people and situations and to handle interruptions and multiple tasks simultaneously. Quick thinking and problem solving to readily assimilate information. Ability to maintain tact and highly professional manners. Initiative to effectively complete tasks with little supervision. The ability to identify and appropriately handle confidential information.

Equipment Used: Telephone, calculator, personal computer, copy machine, fax machine, and printer.

Working Environment: Work is done in an office environment during normal working hours, though extended hours are sometimes needed. Co-worker's support, guidance and reinforcement are readily available.

Prefer 3+ years working with manufacturing data/systems

Work Environment:

Employee work assignments may include tasks working with and/or exposure to potentially hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives. Safety training is provided to all employees to ensure compliance with company and federal regulations.

Pay Range:

$21.83 - $30.63

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
