Join Our Team as a Maintenance Technician!

Are you mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and enjoy working hands-on with equipment? We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to help keep our production equipment running efficiently and safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining and troubleshooting equipment, supporting production operations, and ensuring our facility meets high standards for safety, quality, and reliability. If you take pride in problem-solving and keeping things running smoothly, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills and make an impact.

Objective of the Position:

Service and maintain equipment to support manufacturing operations while ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and operational standards.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, including greasing, oiling, and inspecting chains, belts, and conveying systems
  • Inspect and maintain bearings, fluid levels, chain/belt tension, sprockets, gears, pins, and guards
  • Evaluate condition of brackets, rollers, welds, and structural components
  • Maintain working knowledge of plant operations, including unloading, processing, and packaging systems
  • Use hand tools and power tools to perform maintenance and repair work
  • Perform basic fabrication using welders, torches, and related tools
  • Safely handle and dispense maintenance, cleaning, and sanitation chemicals
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic operational repairs
  • Operate forklift or pallet jack (as trained)
  • Follow all work instructions, SOPs, and maintenance procedures
  • Support production and other departments as directed by leadership
  • Maintain flexibility to work day or night shifts and adjust schedule as needed to support business demands

Food Quality:

  • Monitor equipment to ensure proper operation and minimize production defects
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance checks
  • Report quality concerns or equipment-related issues to FS/QA or leadership

Food Safety:

  • Follow all company cGMP requirements
  • Perform and support HIP (High-Pressure or related) operations as required
  • Follow sanitation procedures during and after maintenance activities
  • Report any food safety concerns immediately

Occupational Safety:

  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions or risks to leadership

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Position requires lifting, bending, crawling, kneeling, standing for extended periods, reaching, frequent walking, climbing ladders, and working in hot and/or dusty environments.
