Job description

The Senior Accountant role will support the day-to-day financial operations of the company by ensuring accurate financial records, assisting with reporting, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and accounting standards. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized professional who can manage multiple accounting tasks while contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of the accounting department.
Responsibilities
  • Process and maintain daily accounting transactions, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and financial record updates
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Maintain financial documentation and ensure records are accurate and properly filed
  • Support the preparation of audit documentation and assist during external audits
  • Maintain and update fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support financial reporting and operational needs
  • Assist in improving accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Job Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Basic understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
  • Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel
