Our client, a leading global Tier 1 automotive supplier, is seeking a motivated Plant Manager to lead manufacturing operations at their facility in the greater Augusta, GA area. With decades of experience in the automotive sector, this organization specializes in innovative, materials-driven solutions and continues to grow its global footprint.

Responsibilities

The Plant Manager will oversee all daily manufacturing operations and drive performance across production, quality, safety, cost, and efficiency initiatives:

  • Lead and supervise all plant operations
  • Maintain full P&L responsibility
  • Drive operational performance improvements
  • Review operational metrics and implement corrective actions
  • Oversee production scheduling, shipping, receiving, and production control activities
  • Establish plant standards, controls, budgets, and performance expectations
  • Ensure adherence to plant safety policies, environmental regulations, and quality standards
  • Coordinate with corporate leadership and sister facilities to ensure smooth operational alignment
  • Participate in production planning and support new product launch activities
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience

  • 5+ years of leadership experience within automotive manufacturing environments
  • Injection molding or multi-process manufacturing experience is strongly preferred
  • Previous Tier 1 automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
