Responsibilities

Position Overview:

As a Manufacturing OperationsManager, you'll be part of our Industrial team working as an onsite employee atour Fullerton, CA location.'

Key Responsibilities:

' Run a safe, injury/accident-free workplace.

' Responsible for daily management and leadership of allresources assigned.' Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to:Schedule adherence, productivity, personnel development, time and attendance,training and establishing/monitoring departmental goals.

' Creates a departmental cross training matrix and mentorsassigned personnel.

' Deploys team members to both strategically and tacticallyengage in cross functional problem solving to improve production efficienciesand product quality.

' Ensures the organization accomplishes Safety, Quality,Schedule, and Cost performance objectives. When misses occur, develops acredible recovery plan with team.

' Review daily demand, production capacity and constraints,optimize production schedules, and manage the workflow through shop.

' Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and otherreporting on daily basis to drive performance in all assigned areas.

' Direct and coordinate manufacturing activities based onpolicies, company objectives and programs spanning multiple manufacturingfunctions.

' Coordinate with Supply Chain for procurement or requiredtools and MRO, and planning delivery schedules to meet delivery schedules,quality standards while reducing overall lead time and cost.

Coordinate with Engineering andQuality Control to determine cause of rejected product and to resolvediscrepancies in manufacture process.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

' Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a combination of appropriate related work experience and education/training.

' Extensive experience with CNC equipment, programming, tooling and fixturing.

' 6+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience and responsibility. Aerospace and/or Automotive experience preferred.

' Proven track record of driving results in a high volume, high mix machining environment.

' Expert ability to read and interpret blueprints, methods of manufacturing, machine code, tabular data and other related technical documentation.

  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

Preferred Qualifications:

' 6+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience and responsibility in the Aerospace and/or Automotive industry.

Salary Range:

The base pay range for this position in California is $140,000 - $170,000/year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
