Job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a Manufacturing Manager to head up operations at our technical ceramics custom solutions facility in Flat Rock, NC. Greenleaf has been in the advanced ceramic business for over 50 years. We manufacture wear parts, medical parts, Lossy or microwave absorption parts, electronic and data storage components and many more applications.  We require someone with experience in ceramic grade development, hot and cold pressing ceramics, green machining, and specialty grinding.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure manufacturing floor is in compliance with all safety regulations
  • Manage a small team and is responsible for all departments, including safety, quality, planning, maintenance and pressing, sintering, grinding, coating and inspection.
  • The candidate must possess a strong quality focus and be able to interface closely with engineering R&D teams.
  • Meet production schedules.
  • Maintain plant KPI’s.
  • Mentor and train staff members.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, manufacturing, or engineering
  • Management and continual improvement process experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Looking for a technical manager with previous manger or supervisory experience.
  • Must be a hands on manager.
