This Manufacturing Manager role leads all extrusion manufacturing operations, serving as both the technical expert and people leader for extrusion production. The position is responsible for developing supervisors and operators, improving performance, supporting increasingly complex products, and driving continuous improvement across a 24/5 manufacturing operation Client Details Our client produces highly engineered tubing, wire, cable, and related products used in demanding and regulated industries. The business is experiencing growth, adding more complex production work and investing in advanced manufacturing capabilities to support expanding customer demand. Description This Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for: Managing all extrusion manufacturing operations. Providing technical leadership for extrusion processes and troubleshooting activities. Leading, coaching, and developing supervisors, leads, and operators. Driving training, cross-training, and workforce development initiatives. Monitoring production performance, efficiency, and quality metrics. Coordinating resources to meet production schedules and delivery requirements. Driving root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing issues. Collaborating with engineering and maintenance to improve processes and equipment performance. Supporting continuous improvement projects focused on manufacturing KPIs. Profile A Successful Manufacturing Manager will have: 5+ years of extrusion, plastics manufacturing, or injection molding experience. Several years of manufacturing leadership experience. Experience managing supervisors and production teams. Strong technical knowledge of extrusion processes and equipment. Ability to troubleshoot production and process issues. Experience training, coaching, and developing manufacturing employees. Strong problem-solving, communication, and change management skills.
