What would you do as our Regional Quality Manager?
As an integral member of the Operations Leadership Team, the Regional Quality Manager is responsible for leading quality strategy, systems, and performance across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role drives standardization, continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, supplier quality, and regulatory compliance while partnering closely with Operations and site leadership teams to improve performance and support business objectives.
You would also:
  • Develop and execute a regional quality strategy that aligns with organizational objectives and drives continuous improvement across all facilities.
  • Lead and mentor site quality teams while driving standardization of quality systems, processes, performance metrics, and best practices across all locations.
  • Establish and maintain quality standards, compliance programs, and audit readiness in alignment with customer, regulatory, and company requirements.
  • Drive customer, supplier, and internal quality performance through root cause analysis, corrective actions, supplier quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain leaders to improve process capability, reduce defects, increase product reliability, and drive operational excellence utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Monitor and communicate quality performance metrics, trends, risks, and improvement opportunities to support strategic decision-making and accountability.
  • Support integration, harmonization, and best-practice sharing across multiple manufacturing locations to ensure consistent execution and continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and training to foster a culture of quality ownership and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as required.
  • Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees.
  • Comply with and enforce all Company policies, applicable state and federal regulations, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.

The Skills and Experience You Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related technical field required.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CMQ/OE), Six Sigma Black Belt, or similar quality certification strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive quality experience within a manufacturing environment, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience leading quality initiatives across multiple manufacturing locations strongly preferred.
  • Experience within metal fabrication, metalworking, powder coating, metal finishing, or related manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success implementing and leading Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Quality Management Systems, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of supplier quality, customer quality, regulatory compliance, audit management, and corrective action processes.
  • Proven ability to analyze quality metrics, identify trends, solve complex problems, and drive sustainable improvements.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills and quality reporting tools.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support regional operations.
