Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Manager provides hands-on operational leadership to drive safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and overall business performance. This role leads teams and processes across manufacturing operations, ensuring resources are aligned with business priorities and customer needs. Working collaboratively across the organization, the Manufacturing Manager builds a culture of teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, capacity, and performance. Areas of responsibility may include production, assembly, secondary operations, customer service, scheduling, maintenance, and shipping/receiving. This is a key leadership role with a direct impact on customer satisfaction, operational performance, employee engagement, and business growth.
2 positions are available:
One will support our Molding Implant and Assemblies team and the 2nd opening will support our General Molding and Stamping team.
Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and engage high-performing teams while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Direct manufacturing operations to meet customer and regulatory requirements, with accountability for key performance metrics including safety, OEE, scrap, productivity, on-time delivery, and partnership on customer complaints owning the the corrective actions required.
  • Use data, KPIs, and business intelligence tools, including Power BI, to identify trends, determine root causes, and drive operational and business decisions.
  • Partner with production leadership and cross-functional teams to align production schedules, resources, and priorities with customer and business needs.
  • Identify operational challenges and lead change and continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality, efficiency, capacity, and overall business performance.
  • Manage labor, material, scrap, and overhead costs to achieve financial and operational objectives.
  • Support product launches, transfers, capital equipment projects, acquisitions, and system improvements.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and suppliers and maintain a clear understanding of customer needs and the markets we serve.
  • Partner with Sales/Marketing, Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and other business functions to achieve shared objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with the company Quality System, ISO and medical device requirements, safety programs, work instructions, and standard work.
  • Ensure business systems and processes are effectively implemented, maintained, and utilized to support operational performance.
  • Champion Operational Excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and work effectively in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in an injection molding environment

Pay Range
USD $100,900.00 - USD $151,300.00 /Yr.
Pay Range Details
This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.
