Supply Chain Intern

Minimum Requirements And Qualification

  • Junior or senior year in Supply Chain Management, Finance or related field of study
  • 1+ years of applicable experience
  • This is an on-site role; applicants must reside locally or be able to commute daily. 

Experience Preferred:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge/Skills Needed:

  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work in team environment interacting with a variety of functional areas and management levels
  • Use of an ERP system and basic workflows within an ERP system.

Major Responsibility Areas And Duties

  • Assist and review when needed, Vendor Master Information in the ERP system
  • Assist in tracking and analyzing inventory levels, shipments, and supplier performance when needed
  • Support procurement activities including vendor communication, purchase orders, and data entry
  • Participate in supply chain planning and forecasting activities
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve supply chain issues as needed/requested.
  • Contribute to process improvement projects and present findings to supply chain leadership
  • When needed, assist in analyzing and maintaining appropriate target stock levels and safety stock, and surge stock levels using ERP and statistical inventory management tools and techniques
  • As a key member of the team, support analytical based projects to support responsive supply chain strategies
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, key issues and support with qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Other duties as directed.

** Must be able to maintain a school/work schedule and a maximum of 29 hours per week **
