We are seeking a talented Manufacturing/Quality Intern to work in our Huntsville, AL site for the fall season (from roughly end of September to mid December). This is an exciting opportunity to use a student's education and gain practical experience. Working with a cross-functional team to understand processes and data. The individual is expected to work between 12-20 hours per week. The project focus will be implementing Statistical Process Control (SPC) and inspection gage reviews in the HSV Manufacturing Machining Facility.

Primary Responsibilities.

  • Ability to use the MS Office suite of software, perform analytical analysis, status Management weekly on progress, issues & recommendations.
  • Write project ending report (task, findings, results, etc).
  • Work with a variety of organizations to understand processes & outputs in a teaming work environment.

Basic Qualifications.

  • Active College student at an accredited University pursuing in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering bachelor's in science.
  • Minimum of 2 years completed with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must provide own housing and meals. No relocation provided.


Preferred Qualifications.

  • Ability to understand & use CAD software.
  • Basic understanding of Statistical Process Controls (SPC).
