Education and Experience:
Skills
- Experienced with ISO Quality and business process management
- Experience in Manufacturing Execution System (MES) strongly preferred
- Mechanically and analytically inclined.
- Proficient computer skills, experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, Email, internet access.
- Demonstrated ability to lead people and achieve results through others
- Able to develop plans, set goals, to evaluate work accomplishments and provide effective feedback.
- Flexible and adaptable to handle employee and technical issues.
- Ability to detect and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Hands on approach to leadership and problem resolution.
- Ability to be able to handle multiple priorities and complex problems under time constraints.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate people.
- Ability to deal effectively with differences of opinion, to influence, to draw ideas from others, and to negotiate and mediate.
- Ability to anticipate and handle multiple priorities and complex issues involving external and internal priorities.
- ISO and Total Quality management experience.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and issues in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to work with employees and customers in a multi-cultural, global team environment.

- All employees are required to attend scheduled training, follow the site EHS procedures and Corporate EHS standards. This includes the use of proper protective equipment (PPE) as required by the job responsibilities.
- Managers will ensure that all safety and environmental procedures are followed consistently. They will ensure that risk assessments are performed, proper training, work instructions, required PPE is available, and will monitor compliance.
- All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.
Quality and Environmental Responsibilities
Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
