General Description

The Project Engineer will manage projects from initial design through production, ensuring objectives align with customer needs and internal standards. This role involves customer collaboration, technical guidance, and comprehensive project documentation, particularly in liquid silicone rubber technology and thermoplastics.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead projects from concept through production, ensuring design and delivery objectives meet customer specifications.
  • Customer Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, customer engineering, and internal teams to provide engineering input for quotations, CAD data creation, and robust product designs.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Become an expert in liquid silicone rubber and thermoplastic applications, supporting customers with design and manufacturing challenges.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed project records, including APQP documentation, timelines, and engineering documents, supporting project success and product quality.
  • Validation: Collaborate with project teams to develop PPAP/final validation documents and review them with customers.
  • Technical Training and Development: Share insights, stay updated on relevant technologies, and assist in training across departments to drive continuous improvement.
  • Including other duties assigned by the Engineering Manager from time to time.

Additional Job Responsibilities

  • Safety and Confidentiality: Maintain a safe work environment and handle proprietary information with integrity.
  • Special Projects: Support unique engineering projects and daily operational needs.
