Manufacturing Engineer – Project Clipper
Location: Santa Rosa
Pay: $38–$40/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Day Shift

Employment Type: Contract (with potential for extension or conversion)

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support Project Clipper, focused on advancing smart manufacturing initiatives through IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) and Industry 4.0 technologies. This role will bridge manufacturing equipment with software systems, enabling data-driven operations and improved production efficiency.
This position requires a strong blend of manufacturing engineering and IT expertise, with hands-on involvement in system integration, technical design, and production support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement technical solutions to support complex manufacturing and business needs
  • Integrate manufacturing equipment with software systems to enable IIoT/Industry 4.0 capabilities
  • Provide technical planning, system architecture, and application design
  • Support production equipment with IT services, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and process improvements
  • Contribute technical expertise to projects, including system design, testing, and implementation
  • Analyze business problems and develop automated system solutions
