Job Description

International company, a leader in manufacturing injection molded or extruded plastic parts, needs a technician to keep the machines running, and to ensure high quality production and employee safety.

The company provides a competitive hourly wage, and great benefits, including 401K Relocation assistance may be available for people with the right set of skills.

The positions to be filled are from 3 pm to 11 pm, or from 11 pm to 7 am.

You are expected to have worked in injection molding and/or extruded plastics before, and be familiar with typical machines, molds, and material problems, especially as they apply to making parts used in automotive applications.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing response to all machine, thermolater, robot, and other problems
  • Reporting to Production Supervisor about problems on the production floor
  • Overseeing Die changes
  • Ensuring machines are running smoothly
  • Following all safety regulations and company policies
  • Participating in continuous improvement activities to save money, improve quality.
Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have at least two or three years of experience as a technician in plastics injection molding.
  • Must be in-depth knowledge about injection molding processes.
  • Must have familiarity with mold set-ups and troubleshooting
  • Should have some experience with robotics and computer controls
