Located in Kansas City, KS, we are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our growing team.

What You'll Do

  • Support production by troubleshooting manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions, and production standards.
  • Manage engineering projects, including equipment installations and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and meet business objectives.
  • Support new product launches and manufacturing planning activities.
  • Analyze production data and downtime trends to improve overall equipment effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 
  • 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in a metal fabrication, stamping, or similar manufacturing environment. 
  • Experience with process improvement, troubleshooting, and project management. 
  • Working knowledge of CAD software and manufacturing equipment. 
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across departments. 
  • Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
  • Frequent walking throughout the production facility.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and occasionally climb stairs or ladders.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to safely access and inspect manufacturing equipment.
  • Visual ability to review production processes, equipment, and technical drawings.
