Plant Controller - manufacturing


Plant Located in Prescott, Arizona - Relocation Provided


Compensation $170,000 - $175,000 (plus bonus)


I am currently recruiting for a Plant Controller role to be located at a Manufacturing Plant in Prescott Valley, 500 employees with $250M in annual sales - Full relocation offered. There are growth opportunities nationwide if desired, all of their plants are domestically located.


The Plant Controller will be responsible for participation on the Plant Leadership team and preparation of all financial, operational, and internal control information to support meeting plant functional area goals - monthly reporting, tracking expenses, payroll function, setting standard costs and the budget process, product pricing, as well as monitoring material flow, scrap, general ledger, etc. This role reports to a divisional Mfg Controller, and is a working plant controller role with direct reports.


The hiring manager is looking for 8-20 years’ experience supporting manufacturing accounting at a plant location. Inventory and Cost Accounting experience including physical inventory, cycle counts, materials variances, etc. Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance with extra credentialing such as a CPA, CMA or MBA valued. The qualified candidate will have good ERP system experience along with well-developed skills in Excel.
