Main responsibilities:

  • Oversee bakery department operations, staffing, and scheduling.
  • Train, supervise, and support bakery staff.
  • Plan daily and weekly production and ensure product quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness of bakery work areas, prep spaces, and display cases.
  • Ensure compliance with food-safety and employee-safety regulations.
  • Assist customers, provide samples, promote products, and take bakery orders.
  • Manage inventory, record keeping, and ordering of ingredients and supplies.
  • Prepare doughs, batters, icings, and operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, and slicers.
