Standard Job Description
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Multi-Functional Manufacturing Associate Manager for a position in Troy, AL. This role reports to the Production Operations Manager and is responsible for executing dynamic strategies to ensure on-time missile deliveries that meet all aspects of engineering and quality requirements while controlling costs. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. The candidate must possess a high-level of adaptability and have a proven ability to demonstrate focus achieving positive results. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading day-to-day operations of a multi-functional work group / team
  • Providing direction to both exempt and non-exempt salaried personnel in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Manpower planning, employee assessment and selection, training, work assignments, evaluations, and recognition/disciplinary actions
  • Working closely and cooperatively with ESH to ensure that safety and environmental policies and procedures are followed
  • Assisting in the development of strategies and the coordination of activities to increase throughput and reduce inefficiencies

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience/combined education with professional experience
  • Experience and success in leading manufacturing and/or production teams proven capability to manage budgets and schedules
  • Excellent communication skills with presentation to various size groups
  • Proficient use of computing resources including MS Office applications.
  • Experience managing hourly performance, assignments, training, labor records, and overtime schedules
  • Must be able to perform in a team and customer-focused work environment, maintaining effective communication with internal / external customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to recommend sound/effective problem resolutions with clear and concise direction for efficient execution of directives.
  • Must obtain an interim clearance prior to starting and have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.

**Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ("ATF") background check to obtain approval to be an "employee possessor" (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $89100.00 - $165500.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
