Volt is hiring a Manufacturing Associate in Temecula, CA.
As a Manufacturing Associate you will:
  • Pull products from inventory and assemble components into kits and kit sub-assemblies using quality system documents. (These tasks will be carried out under supervision until area supervisor determines that competency has been demonstrated.)
  • Label components and kits accurately, under supervision
  • Perform quality control checks during and after assembly to ensure all kits meet company standards.
  • Document completed kit assemblies in the inventory management system.
  • Organize and maintain an orderly workspace for efficient assembly and inventory retrieval.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address any identified discrepancies or issues with kit components.
  • Assist in developing and implementing improvements to the kit assembly process to enhance efficiency and minimize errors.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and cleanliness protocols in the assembly area.
  • Setup and operation of the semi-automated dispensing, capping and labeling equipment.
  • Documentation of processes, lot numbers, and batch records.
  • Assist in monitoring inventory of supplies
  • Monitor inventory levels of chemicals, buffers, and associated supplies to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Perform calibration and maintenance of dispensing equipment to maintain operational efficiency and product quality.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines for the handling, preparation, and dispensing of chemicals and buffers.
  • Assist in the creation and review of documentation related to dispensing operations, including SOPs, equipment logs, and batch records.
  • Work with the Quality Assurance team to address deviations or inconsistencies in the dispensing process.
  • Preparation of orders for shipment according to invoices
  • Pick and package orders
  • Documentation of lot numbers and quantities of orders on invoice
  • Coordinate with the Customer Service department and Manufacturing department to check inventory to verify availability of needed products
  • Notify the Manufacturing and Production Manager of product shortages
  • Package and ship in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods/practices
  • Coordinate with the Customer Service department to process replacement and back orders
  • Monitor packaging material supplies and notify the Manufacturing and Production Manager when materials reach the restocking point
  • Unload/receive material as required
  • Perform housekeeping duties in areas assigned

This is a full time 6 month assignment opportunity!
Shift: Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The Ideal candidate will have:
  • Knowledge in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Immunology, Virology, or Molecular Biology preferable.
  • Preferably 1 year of manufacturing/assembly and shipping experience.
  • Proficient using computers
  • High school diploma is required.
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree Preferable.

Pay Rate $21.00 -$23.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
