Job Description

Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and production documentation to support manufacturing operations. Collaborate with engineering, suppliers, and production teams to ensure manufacturability, resolve production issues, and support delivery commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain manufacturing plans, BOMs, work instructions, and as-built documentation.

  • Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.

  • Integrate suppliers, materials, processes, data, and technologies into manufacturing operations.

  • Review and approve supplier data for manufacturing compliance.

  • Develop tooling requirements and manage tooling throughout its lifecycle.

  • Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related issues.

  • Perform producibility assessments and provide design-for-manufacturing input.

  • Develop work statements and production sequencing plans.

  • Create and maintain manufacturing processes and procedures.

  • Provide shipside support to resolve production issues.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of manufacturing engineering or related experience.

  • Experience with systems & test commodities and/or manufacturing processes.

  • Experience with CMES (Common Manufacturing Execution System) or equivalent MES tools.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Experience supporting production issue resolution in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of aerospace systems and test fabrication and/or installation experience.

  • Experience supporting aerospace manufacturing programs.

  • Ability to meet Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment requirements.

Education

  • Associate degree in a related discipline with 6+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
