Associate Engineer/Coop

Boyd Corporation is a market leader and manufacturer of high-performance cooling products for use in the aerospace, military, alternative energy, and medical markets.

In this position in our Engineering department, you will:

  • Generate work instructions.

  • Design tooling and fixtures.

  • Assist in disposition QC Tags, DMRs, RMAs, etc.

  • Work with subject matter experts in machining, brazing, heat treating and welding to improve processes that meet customer requirements and cost/quality goals.

  • Data analysis including CMMs.

  • Review customer documentation packages.

  • Participate in design, RCCA, and other engineering reviews.

  • Assist in minor assembly tasks and product testing.

  • Setup and run 3D printing equipment for metal and plastic.

  • Post printing processing.

  • Monitor material tracking, usage for 3D printing.

  • Minor inspection for products and tooling.

  • Assist in R & D activities as required.

  • Assist in other tasks as assigned.
