To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:

  • Support the Company’s mission, vision, values and goals in the performance of daily activities.
  • Maintain positive Associates' Relations through effective communication and prompt attention to Associates' concerns.
  • Document and prepare Associate disciplinary action/s.
  • Provide support to Associates regarding company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain applicant files and records as required by federal and state law.
  • Coordinate applicant testing through external third party/internal testing administration.
  • Co-team the orientation program for all new hires.
  • Conduct exit interviews with all terminated Associates.
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions for all Associate job descriptions.
  • Maintain training records for all Associates.
  • Counsel terminated Associates of their options under the COBRA guidelines and notify Corporate Benefits of termination documentation.
  • Functions as liaison contact for the 401K plan for Associates.
  • Maintain accurate records for all Associates and prepare disciplinary write-ups as necessary.
  • Assist in processing all MESC forms and represent the company at all unemployment hearings.
  • Maintain all active and terminated Associate files in compliance with federal and state employment laws.
  • Coordinate Associates performance reviews after 90 days.
  • Oversee the management and tracking of Workers Compensation, primary contact with carriers and with clinic for work related injuries.
  • Accountable for following all internal and OSHA required safety procedures in performing all daily work activities.
  • This role is part of a three-member Plant HR Team and reports to the Plant HR Manager.


SUCCESS FACTORS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business with 2-4 years in Human Resources or Associate degree with 4+ years of Human Resources experience, both within a manufacturing environment.
  • General knowledge in several HR processes and practices (labor relations, organizational development, leadership development, compensation, benefits, etc.)
  • Excellent organization, analytical and communication skills with all employees.
  • Solid problem resolution skills, along with Customer Service and team orientations skills.
  • 2-4 years with all functions of HR (Recruiting, Orientation, Payroll, Performance Analysis, Workers Compensation, etc.)
  • Strong problem resolution skills along with professional Customer Service to all Associates.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Payroll, ATS and HRIS softwares.
  • SPHR or PHR certification a plus.
