JOB DESCRIPTION

AV Set-up

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The AV Set-up reports to the Team Leader. Responsible for meeting production and maintenance requirements. Complete work orders generated by manufacturing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform machine repairs, adjustments and tooling changes
  • TPM machines
  • Inspection and problem solving
  • Material handling
  • Prepare paperwork for department
  • Complete mold changes in appropriate times
  • Other duties as assigned by Group Leader
  • Work with Group Leader and management to continually improve the function and operation of equipment
  • Work with maintenance on TPM activities
  • Prepare Standards for proper TPM activities

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to use hands to finger dexterity. The Associate frequently is required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch; and talk and/or hear. The Associate is occasionally required to sit, climb and balance. The Associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds occasionally. Must be able to bend, twist, push, pull, and reach occasionally.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; extreme heat; the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Associates at all levels must maintain their Roles and Responsibilities as outlined within SRK-OH’s policies and procedures to ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO9001 and ISO 14001. These industry standards are necessary to ensure continued Customer Satisfaction in relationship with our philosophy of Continuous Quality Improvement

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: The minimum qualifications needed to perform the essential functions of the job such as education, competencies, experience, knowledge and skills. This should include any specialized knowledge and expertise applicable to the job.

  • One or more years of working in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • High level of mechanical aptitude
