We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our vacuum forming team. This is a safety-sensitive position responsible for transforming acrylic sheets into high-quality bathtub shells using specialized vacuum-forming equipment. No prior acrylic forming experience is required—we provide on-the-job training for motivated individuals who are eager to learn.


What You'll Do

As an Acrylic Forming Operator, you will:

  • Set up and change molds for production.
  • Inspect molds for damage and perform minor repairs or notify supervision when needed.
  • Inspect acrylic sheets prior to forming.
  • Load and operate vacuum-forming equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Attach acrylic sheets to vacuum-forming frames.
  • Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Route completed tub shells to the fiberglass department.
  • Complete daily inventory tags and production documentation.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Operate a forklift safely in confined manufacturing areas (training provided if necessary).
  • Cross-train in other production areas as needed.
  • Assist other departments and perform additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus.
  • Forklift experience is helpful but not required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

  • Frequently lift and move 40–60 pounds.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Push, pull, bend, reach, twist, and work around manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform repetitive hand and arm motions throughout the shift.
  • Maintain visual attention to detail and follow verbal instructions.
