Manufacturing Associate
Position Overview
The Manufacturing Associate I is an entry-level position responsible for performing basic production tasks in a nicotine manufacturing environment. Working under close supervision, this role assists with material handling, equipment operation, and process monitoring to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing of nicotine or nicotine-derived products. The Manufacturing Associate I follows standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to maintain product quality and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform assigned manufacturing tasks including weighing, measuring, mixing, and transferring raw materials used in nicotine production.
  • Assist in operating and cleaning production equipment such as reactors, extractors, filters, and packaging machinery.
  • Follow written procedures (SOPs) and batch records accurately to ensure compliance with manufacturing specifications.
  • Monitor production parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, flow rates) and report deviations to senior operators or supervisors.
  • Record data and observations clearly and accurately in logs, forms, or electronic systems.
  • Assist with material handling activities, including labeling, moving, and staging of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and GMP standards.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE (e.g., gloves, respirators, goggles).
  • Participate in training sessions and safety meetings to build understanding of plant operations and regulatory requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement and team initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
