Job description

Connect Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Associate for a plastic utensils manufacturing and distribution facility in Torrance, CA. This is a long-term placement position paying $16.90/hr on a Monday–Friday day schedule. In this role, you will palletize finished goods, load and unload trucks, and move boxes throughout the facility. This is a steady, consistent schedule with no weekends.


Pay: $16.90/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Location: Torrance, CA

Job Type: Long-term Placement

Primary workplace language(s): English, Spanish

Work Environment: Manufacturing Plant / Factory


Responsibilities

  • Palletize finished goods and stage completed product for shipping.
  • Load and unload trucks at the dock.
  • Move boxes and materials throughout the facility by hand or using material handling equipment.
  • Keep work area clean and organized at the end of each shift.


Minimum Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
  • Bilingual/Spanish required.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience palletizing or stacking product in a production or distribution setting.
  • Familiarity with dock procedures including receiving and shipping.
  • Experience in a plastics, packaging, or consumer goods manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions or shipping labels.
  • Experience working on a team in a high-output production environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
