Warehouse Associate/Driver/Counter

Plumbing & Heating Wholesale, Inc. is hiring a professional in or around the Carroll, IA area to fill the role of full time Warehouse Associate. This person would spend a majority of their time in the warehouse; however, we would like this person to cross train in the areas of our counter and driver (will need to have a CDL). Think of yourself as a jack of trades. The Warehouse Associate will increase operational efficiency, company profitability and customer satisfaction by the: Accurate and timely processing and storing of incoming shipments and taking on the responsibility to clearly identify and/or label all incoming products. Accurate and safe picking and packing of orders and transfers for pickup and delivery. Loading and securing of orders for efficient, timely delivery as well as verifying the accuracy on orders. Some duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Processing incoming shipments in a timely and accurate manner. Check incoming freight for damnage and process the damage according to company policy. Remove tag-and-hold products from incoming transfers and place in proper location. Notify Purchasing Dept. of all receiving discrepancies. Pulling, filling, packing and setting up orders for delivery or pick up. Load trucks to ensure that no product is damaged in shipment.
