    Summary

    This position reports to the General Manager. The Manufacturing Associate supports daily production operations by operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment, assembling products, and performing in-process and final quality checks. This role ensures all work is completed in accordance with company procedures, safety standards, and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include setting up and cleaning equipment, tracking and documenting production activities, handling and staging raw materials, and maintaining an organized, compliant, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a strong safety work ethic, while striving to support the reliable production of innovative top-quality products for our customers. The Manufacturing Associate will be engaged personally through interaction and teamwork across all functions and specialties to ensure optimal flow of materials within process reliability and financial metrics, including resolving short and long-term challenges or key opportunities.


    Job Duties and Responsibilities


    • Works safely and effectively in an industrial team-based environment, is responsible for many items traditionally managed by leadership such as leading safety, managing performance, conducting training, and improvement projects.
    • Works unsupervised and makes decisions to safely and effectively operate equipment based on established standard and OSHA practices and at certified associate skill level.
    • Maintains frequent and effective communications with facility personnel and leaders, performing duties (reactive and preventative) efficiently.
    • Operates daily manufacturing process equipment, forklifts, and other mobile equipment.
    • Performs preventive maintenance and clean-up of equipment.
    • Performs quality checks and ensures production of a quality product.
    • Problem-solves and troubleshoots reliability issues by proactively identifying areas of improvement, evaluate alternatives, recommend, and implement solutions.
    • Conducts and completes required paperwork and recordkeeping.
    • Follows all OSHA and other company safety guidelines.
    • Performs in a manner consistent with company Core Values.
    • Maintains strictest confidentiality of operating process/parameters/targets, when dealing with anyone that is not an InventWood team member.
    • Completes all required training and maintains certifications.
    • Stays current with personal ongoing development and is willing to mentor other associates in their development.
    • Attends all scheduled meetings.
    • Manages any stress on the job, including but not limited to meeting deadlines.
    • Provides excellent internal customer service.
    • Actively and always demonstrate teamwork.
    • Always adheres to company safety standards, such that no serious (requiring medical attention) injury occurred in the prior 12-month period.
    • Follows other policies and procedures such that there are no verbal or written warnings during the evaluation period.
    • The duties described above are not inclusive. Additional duties may be permanently assigned or required from time to time due to the need to respond to various external and internal needs and remain competitive in the marketplace.

    * Please note Manufacturing Associates work 4 12 hour shifts. We have both day and night shifts available.
