Job description

Title: Manufacturing Operator
Location: Pompano Beach, Florida
Duration: 12 Months
Shift: 1st Shift
 
Description:
The Operator 1 will be responsible for performing cleaning and processing of manufacturing and formulation department equipment,
formulation of buffers and solutions, treatment of gel and other formulation department activities according to specified procedures. 
Perform automated and manual cleaning of manufacturing and formulation equipment.
Perform assembly, inspection, and issue of manufacturing equipment. 
Perform formulation of buffers and solutions.
Perform gel treatment processes such as the addition of Sodium Azide to Gel and Antibody to Gel.
Perform daily/weekly/monthly verification and maintenance of the DI Water System.
Perform daily/weekly maintenance of the automated washer.
Perform calibration and testing of chemistry testing equipment and other laboratory equipment. 
QC Incoming inspection of Gel.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned. 
 
General Details:
Perform basic job skills with the oversight of a qualified operator
Clean and maintain tools and work areas.
Perform basic functions of the work area

Skills Required:
High School Diploma required along with a minimum of one year in a regulated production environment with knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices. 
Manual dexterity for the processing and cleaning of manufacturing and formulation equipment, repetitive motions and standing for extended periods of time.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and challenges at the same time.
Work independently and within a team environment.
Be and advocate for a safe work environment and be responsible for personal safety and the safety of others.
