Senior Tester

Conducts automated and manual tests to ensure that the software created/upgraded performs as necessary and meets the user requirements. Develops and maintains user and technical documentation and project process documentation for application teams.

Perform application testing based on written test scripts, documenting, tracking and communicating defects utilizing ALM

Perform creating, developing, managing, and executing functional test and regression test scripts; developing generic reusable functions and scripts

Work directly with business analysts, program subject matter experts, and technical staff to create robust test plans / test cases for web applications.

Develop automation scripts using Playwright

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct automated and manual tests to ensure software performance and user requirements are met
  • Develop and maintain user and technical documentation
  • Create, develop, manage, and execute functional test and regression test scripts
  • Collaborate with business analysts, subject matter experts, and technical staff to create test plans for web applications
  • Develop automation scripts using Playwright
Requirements:

Primary Qualifications:

  • 72 months of experience performing application testing based on written test scripts, and documenting, tracking and communicating defects utilizing HP ALM
  • 72 months of experience creating, developing, managing, and executing functional test and regression test scripts; developing generic reusable functions and scripts
  • 12 months of programming languages experience in PL/SQL, JSON, Python, VB, .Net, HTML, VB Script.
  • 12 months of experience working in high visibility government projects in a state or federal agency, preferably in Licensing projects
  • 6 months of experience in automation testing using Playwright, developing and executing automation test scripts.
