TITLE: Sr. Software Quality Engineer, Android/Mobile
EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC
LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES: Develop detailed software test cases by analyzing and interpreting product requirements, participating in requirement gathering, and conducting analysis sessions. Create and evaluate test cases for accuracy and applicability to ensure coverage of products under test. Perform integration, system, feature interaction, stress, performance, and carrier validation testing for different products on networks and testing of applications across Wi-fi networks. Execute test cases efficiently across all functional areas of Android and web-based products. Test Rest API calls and write SQL queries. Document and communicate testing progress by creating and maintaining test plans. Collaborate with cross-functional, feature-focused teams to assist in testing, define acceptance criteria, and ensure customer requirements are met for high-quality deliverables. Identify and document defects and validate fixes using black box testing techniques (including test matrices, combination testing, and risk analysis) and gray box testing techniques (including database querying and source code analysis).
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (3 year foreign degree accepted) in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving manual and automation testing experience. Prior experience must include 4 years in the following: Testing and troubleshooting Android devices; Working with ADB, DDMS, Monkey, and Memory Analyzer; Working with relational databases; Automating testing using one or more of the following languages: C++, Java, Python, or JavaScript; Using defect tracking tools including JIRA, MySQL, Jenkins, and Git; and Testing server-side REST API and Android application functional testing emulators.
