Job Description:

Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.

Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.

Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.

Ensures software standards are met.

Job expectations/duties:

  • Supporting Automated Regression testing utilizing software such as Tricentis Tosca and OpenText UFT
  • Managing, writing and executing automated test scripts supporting Siemens Teamcenter
  • Knowledge share test automation skills among team members

First shift. 8 hours per day. Core hours 8am - 4pm

Special requirements specific to this position you are looking for candidates to have prior experience in:

  • Knowledge of software testing
  • Knowledge of automated testing tools such as Tricentis Tosca or OpenText UFT
  • Knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter
  • Knowledge of agile software development principles
  • Logical thinking
  • Problem solving abilities

1. It will be hybrid with the ability to attend in-person meetings in building 888, VASCIC, or other shipyard building

2. The candidates will be working with other contractors to take manual test scripts and automate them using software. The contractors will be primarily on-site, and the candidates will need to work with them in-person, especially the first 6 months or longer. There is no set schedule at this time
