Responsibilities Key Responsibilities * Software Testing and Quality Assurance:
* Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for both automated and manual testing to identify software defects and ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
* Test system modifications prior to implementation to validate product functionality and quality.
* Identify edge cases, perform defect triage, and conduct regression testing to ensure product reliability.
* Defect Documentation and Reporting:
* Document and log software and application defects using a bug-tracking system.
* Collaborate closely with software or web developers to report defects and assist in resolving issues.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases of identified defects.
* Collaboration in Development Lifecycle:
* Actively participate in software design reviews to provide valuable input on functional requirements, operational characteristics, product designs, and project schedules.
* Collaborate with business analysts, end users, and leadership to translate customer requirements into functional interfaces, maintaining a focus on usability and accessibility.
* Software Development:
* Develop, enhance, and refine software application features.
* Refactor code bases while adhering to secure coding practices and usability principles.
* Fix software defects and contribute to feature implementation, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
* Support and Troubleshooting:
* Contribute to documentation, testing improvements, and troubleshooting in both development and production environments to resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently.

* Minimum of 4+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
* SharePoint/web design, software/application development, or software testing/QA.
* Proficiency in HTML/CSS and familiarity with modern programming languages or frameworks (e.g., C#, Java, JavaScript, .NET).
* Understanding of usability principles, accessibility standards, secure coding practices, and structured development lifecycles.
* Experience with relational databases, RESTful services, or automated testing frameworks.
* Active Secret Security clearance is required.

* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing tools, and performance or security testing methodologies.
