About the Role:
Security Benefit (SB) is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) and the Growth Office Leadership Team. This role serves as a trusted partner by managing executive priorities, coordinating daily operations, and enabling the execution of strategic growth initiatives while maintaining the highest level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
The Executive Assistant position reports to the SVP, Chief Growth Officer, and will be based out of our home office in Topeka, Kansas. We work a hybrid schedule, offering flexibility to work both remotely and on-site.
  • Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings, and ensure the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) and Growth Leadership Team are prepared for daily priorities.
  • Serve as a trusted administrative partner by managing communications, anticipating leadership needs, and supporting departmental priorities and strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, catering, agendas, presentation materials, and event planning for internal and external meetings.
  • Provide administrative support, including document preparation, presentations, reports, special projects, and office coordination.
  • Support project tracking and help ensure key initiatives, deliverables, and deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare detailed itineraries.
  • Prepare, review, and submit expense reports in compliance with corporate policies.
  • Process invoices and ensure timely payment.
  • Foster communication and collaboration across the Growth organization while supporting leadership meetings, business initiatives, and client or partner events as needed.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and clients while representing the Growth organization with professionalism.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and increase operational efficiency.
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality while adapting to changing business priorities.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development to strengthen executive support, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
