About the Role
CountryPlace Mortgage is a nationwide personal property and mortgage lender. We are looking for a Director - Agency Production to join our originations team in our Plano, TX office. This role plays a crucial part in our growing production unit.
As a Director - Agency Production you will be responsible for managing Loan Officers. The Director thinks creatively to improve processes and practices used throughout the Originations department. They are responsible for providing training for and managing Loan Officers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for coaching and motivating origination team to meet and exceed volume and customer satisfaction goals
  • Manage relationships with retailers and other partners by managing origination of Agency Mortgage loans and ensuring Loan Officers provide high-quality
  • Manage origination of FHA, Conventional, and VA mortgage loans
  • Effectively communicate the loan approval or denial reasons to appropriate party
  • Work with internal staff to provide follow-up, counteroffers, program details, and additional information
  • Manages Loan Officer review of conditions submitted for approved loans and helps Loan Officers clear conditions when appropriate
  • Ensure loans adhere to investor guidelines
  • Ability to adjust work and thought process to accommodate multiple investor guidelines
  • Employ a strong sense of urgency and ownership
  • Ensure that escalated items are handled with care and the best outcome is achieved
  • Demonstrate a professional work ethic in all facets of completing work duties
  • Collaborate with loan processing and underwriting team leaders and managers to promote efficiency
  • Lead, direct and motivate a successful team of Loan Originators
  • Lead recruitment effort for new MLOs
  • Develop Loan Officer Trainees to become Agency Mortgage Loan Officers who can expertly originate Construction Loans
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
  • Consistently meets and exceeds individual, team and department objectives

Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree required
  • 5+ Years of Mortgage Lending Management Experience
  • 2+ Years experience originating 1x Close Construction Loans
