A Managing Dentist is a licensed dental professional who oversees the clinical operations of a dental practice or clinic. In addition to providing dental care to patients, they are responsible for supervising other dentists and dental staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing best practices for patient care. Managing Dentists also play a key role in business management, such as budgeting, staff training, and maintaining high standards of service. Their leadership ensures that the practice runs smoothly and delivers quality dental care to all patients.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a managing dentist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Managing Dentist, you need a DDS or DMD degree, a valid dental license, and extensive clinical experience in general dentistry.
