Job OverviewThe Regional Service Manager will oversee Service / Operations business for a defined geographical area or specific customer base. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of Regional Service & Operations, including P & L performance, A/R, inventory control relative to logging to work orders, development of department personnel, quality, business growth and customer related projects. Job Responsibilities:Responsible for regional service department's financial results, technical / managerial development, on-time performance, quality, customer service and growing the base business. Develops inputs to strategic / annual business plan, manpower reviews, operation summaries, cost reduction actions and required presentations for internal / external customer. Hires / develops staff, administers all Service Division required policies including EEO, Safety, EPA, and human resource procedures.Manages staff, regional admin and special project / individual contributors. Acts as coordination point for division's service / installation projects within specific region.On-going technical training to remain current with the state of the power technology base as it pertains to customer base and services. Continuous improvement techniques to achieve industry leading processes, applications and services to expand customer base.Qualifications:Technical graduate of a two year accredited university in an engineering/technical field with preference for a Bachelor's degree or related job experience. Broad technical service business experience encompassing field engineering, material coordination, site supervision, variance control, revenue enhancement, customer relations, sales/marketing coordination and safety management within the DC power industry. Appropriate managerial experience with well developed Human Relations skills.
