Role Summary
As an integral member of the IT regional organization, this role is dedicated to supporting and facilitating secure Operational Technology (OT) systems across MANN+HUMMEL's manufacturing sites in the Americas region. The IT/OT Support Specialist acts as a bridge between traditional IT and OT environments and will be the primary OT knowledge holder for the region. This position also contributes to global OT initiatives in close collaboration with international IT and OT teams.
Main Tasks
  • Integration into Center of Competence CoC Structure: This role is part of the global OT CoC and worksclosely with colleagues in Europe, Asia, and North America
  • Regular alignment with the central OT architecture team and participation in global initiatives
  • Provide IT-levelsupport for OT systems in regional manufacturing environments, including SCADA, MES, and other relatedplatforms
  • Assist in the integration of production equipment into the broader IT/OT infrastructure, ensuring alignmentwith MANN+HUMMEL IT standards
  • Ensure network segmentation and security between IT and OT environments (e.g., using Cisco/Palo Altosolutions)
  • Collaborate with local engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues associated with
  • Deliver 2nd and 3rd level support for OT-related incidents, including root cause analysis and long-termresolution planning.
  • Document OT systems and maintain technical records
  • Support OT-related projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and security initiation

Education:
