Regional Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager

About Us:

Hoonigan serves the automotive enthusiast community through engaging content and a broad range of vehicle enhancements from brands like Fuel Off-Road, American Racing, KMC, Rotiform, and Black Rhino. Our distribution centers in North America, Australia, and Europe support more than 30,000 retailers along with a growing e-commerce presence, giving enthusiasts reliable access to wheels, suspension, lighting, and accessories.

Our experience in automotive culture guides how we operate and help us stay connected to what enthusiasts care about as the industry evolves. Overview

The Regional EHS Manager is responsible for building, deploying & leading a practical EHS program across Wheel Pros / Hoonigan manufacturing, warehouse, and performance shop environments. This role supports high-performance aftermarket operations, including fabrication, wheel/tire handling, vehicle builds, and distribution—by keeping our people & our environments safe!

This position requires a hands-on leader who is comfortable on the floor, in the shop, and in the warehouse, someone who can partner with builders, operators, and leadership to embed EHS into how work gets done to deliver our goal of Zero Harm, Zero Loss, No One Gets Hurt!

Responsibilities

  • Warehousing (forklifts, working at heights, racking, shipping/receiving).
  • Vehicle build and modification environments.
  • Set clear, practical safety expectations that align with production speed and quality.
  • Be visible on the floor—coaching, correcting, and reinforcing safe behaviors in real time.
  • Ability to challenge the organization in a manner that creates trust and respect.
  • Possess a high level of personal integrity, must be able to multitask, maintain a positive attitude and be a team player.
  • Oversee waste management, emissions control, and environmental impact reduction initiatives.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Maintain spill prevention and response readiness (SPCC if applicable).
  • Support sustainability and environmental improvement programs.
  • Maintain required permits, licenses, and documentation.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Achieve & maintain conformance with all Wheel Pros / Hoonigan EHS Standards & compliance to applicable federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA) by working Site Managers & Regional Leaders on specific EHS opportunities.
  • Manage core programs:
  • Lockout/Tagout.
  • Machine guarding.
  • Hazard Communication.
  • Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Powered Industrial Trucks.
  • Working at Heights.

Risk Management & Incident Response

  • Guarantees that the right problem-solving efforts are happening – proactively to address EHS events such near miss events, recordable injuries & the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Partner with Leaders & Supervisors to implement corrective actions.
  • Turn data into action, track and analyze trends (TRIR, DART, near misses).
  • Identify high-risk activities (lifting wheels/tires, fabrication tasks, vehicle work) and implement effective controls to reduce risk.

Training That Actually Lands

  • Deliver hands-on, relevant training such as:
  • Forklift operation.
  • Shop safety (welding, grinding, cutting).
  • LOTO & machine safety.

  • Run practical toolbox talks—short, direct, and useful.
  • Ensure new hires are shop- and warehouse-ready from day one by partnering with Site Leaders & Human Resources.

Audits, Inspections & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct regular walkthroughs of shops and distribution centers.
  • Identify gaps and fix them fast—no report sitting on a shelf.
  • Lead internal audits and support external inspections.
  • Integrate EHS into Lean / 5S / operational excellence efforts.

Emergency Preparedness

  • Maintain simple, effective emergency plans (fire, spill, injury, severe weather).
  • Run drills that reflect real-world scenarios in shop and warehouse environments.
  • Act as EHS lead during incidents.

Multi-Site Support

  • Standardize EHS practices across multiple locations.
