GENERAL SUMMARY

The Warehouse & Delivery Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and delivery operations, ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, handling, loading, unloading, and delivery of products. This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and efficient warehouse.
• Receive, unload, inspect, and properly store incoming inventory and container shipments.
• Accurately pick, pack, stage, and load customer orders.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory control procedures.
• Deliver products to customers in a safe, professional, and timely manner.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and customer interactions.
• Maintain company vehicles, warehouse equipment, and work areas in good condition.

DELIVERY ACCURACY AND CUSTOMER VERIFICATION

• Verify customer name, delivery address, order number, and delivery documents before departing the warehouse.
• Ensure all picked products match the sales order, pick ticket, and delivery paperwork.
• Verify all products loaded onto the delivery vehicle are correct in quantity, description, and specifications.
• Use delivery documents, customer information, GPS, and other available resources to confirm the correct delivery location.
• Before unloading, verify the delivery location and receiving party.
• Before obtaining a customer signature, request that the customer inspect and verify the products, quantities, and specifications against the delivery documents.

• Obtain customer signature confirming receipt of the correct products at the correct location.
• Immediately report any shortages, damages, discrepancies, customer concerns, or delivery errors to management.

• Failure to follow delivery verification procedures may result in disciplinary action.

WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS

• Receive and unload containers and incoming shipments.
• Inspect shipments for shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Properly label, organize, and store inventory.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization at all times.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
TEAMWORK AND COMPANY SUPPORT

• Work cooperatively with warehouse staff, drivers, sales personnel, office staff, and management.
• Assist with customer pickups, check collections, loading assistance, office support tasks, facility upkeep, and other operational needs when requested.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and demonstrate a willingness to help wherever needed.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support company operations and customer service.
REPORTING

Reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and/or Operations Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Forklift experience mandatory.
• Warehouse, delivery, logistics, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Regularly lift, move, push, and pull products weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
• Ability to work in warehouse and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position primarily works in warehouse, delivery, and customer locations. Background checks, motor vehicle record reviews, and drug testing may be required where permitted by law.
