$500 Sign On Bonus ($250 at the completion of the first week of training and $250 after successful completion of first 90 days)

Position: Technology Integration Specialist 2

Location: Holyoke, MA

Hours: 40 Hours per week; Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm with flexibility

Rate of Pay: $24.76 Per Hour

Summary:

  • Join Viability as a Technology Integration Specialist and help transform employment services through innovative virtual reality technology. In this dynamic, people-focused role, you will lead training and support efforts for Project (VR)², Viability’s immersive virtual reality program designed to build employment skills and expand opportunities for individuals with disabilities. As a Technology Integration Specialist, you will facilitate engaging learning experiences, train staff and program participants, monitor member progress, and provide person-centered support. You will coordinate schedules, evaluate outcomes, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful program implementation and growth. This is not a traditional IT position. You'll spend your time working directly with people, delivering hands-on training, promoting technology adoption, and helping shape a cutting-edge program that is redefining how employment services are delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver virtual reality-based training and employment skill development activities.
  • Provide technology support and guidance to members, staff, and program teams.
  • Develop and manage training schedules and program activities.
  • Monitor and document participant progress and outcomes.
  • Provide person-centered services that support individual employment goals.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with members, staff, employers, and community partners.
  • Promote awareness, education, and advocacy related to technology-assisted employment services.
  • Support the ongoing growth and success of Project (VR)² and related initiatives.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Services, Rehabilitation, Information Technology, Training & Development, or a related field required.
  • Passionate about technology, workforce development, and helping others succeed.
  • Comfortable presenting, training, and engaging with diverse groups.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams and stakeholders.
  • Interested in innovative approaches to employment services and disability inclusion.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Must be able to travel regularly between multiple Viability program locations to provide on-site training, support, and program services.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of virtual reality headsets, tablets (including iPads), internet and Wi-Fi connectivity, and VR software applications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues, support users with technology adoption, and confidently operate and train others on VR equipment and software is required.
