Based in sunny Southern California, our Retail Support Center (RSC) is the heart of our corporate operations, dedicated to supporting both our retail and online stores. The RSC is where strategy meets execution. From trend forecasting to tech innovation, our teams work together to bring the Tillys experience to life - both in-store and online.
Position Summary
We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Manager of Vendor Direct Commerce to support our Merchandising department.
This individual will manage the day-to-day management vendor's direct product on Tillys.com. This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day launch of our new vendor drop ship program and our print on demand programs. The goal of this role is to help grow the direct vendor business at Tillys.com
Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for ensuring item setup for products within Print on Demand and Drop Ship is correct. Including product titles, copy, images and classification
  • Responsible for price management of Products on Drop Ship (i.e., price is aligned with brands and Merchant teams)
  • Responsible for communication with Print on Demand and Drop Ship Vendors, including but not limited to cold calls/initial outreach, contract negotiations and assortment decisions.
  • Partnering with Merchant & Ecommerce teams to assist in defining and refining the online shopping experience for vendor direct commerce.
  • Help perform in-depth analysis for selling and product sell through for Vendor Direct Commerce to guide opportunities for improvement of tillys.com merchandise performance and presentation, by partnering with DMMs
  • Help perform consistent reviews of Tillys.com and competitors' site to improve sales, navigation, and margins
  • Work with Kornit and the DC's POD operations on file, data on production operations
  • Support production operation with blank identification
  • Work with merchandising teams to determine POD items for stores, coordinating with merchant's trend teams and designers
  • Identify, onboard and launch new licenses to expand POD operations
  • Use internal tools such as Google Analytics, Heat Mapping, & Web Tool to improve Tillys.com sales and margin for Vendor Direct Commerce
  • Understand and learn hot products and key licenses through tracking industry trends and staying up to date on new media releases
  • Supervise, coach and develop Coordinator.

Education & Experience
  • College Degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years site merchanting experience in a retail environment across multi-site landscape
  • Experience with Drop Shipping and/or Print on Demand
  • Experience in ecommerce merchandising and/or ecommerce planning
  • Experience with eCommerce Operations and product set up
  • Experience in Change Management and development of new organizations would be beneficial

Compensation
Hourly Range:$100,000- $120,000
Final offer will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
What to Expect
Schedule: Full-time role with weekday office hours; occasional evening or weekend work may be required during peak retail seasons.
Work Location: Irvine, CA - minimum of 4 days per week in-office.
