Key position functions include:ย 

  • Responsible for the management of all customer account sales functions for assigned accounts within a designated territory. This includes all Know-Your-Customer activities, lead prospecting, project pursuit, and aftermarket sales
  • Forecast and manage annual sales budgets for assigned accounts and ensure targets are met or exceeded
  • Establish operations assurance plans for assigned accounts, including forecast of spares and refurbishment requirements
  • Maintain and grow business within accounts through continuous demonstration of our commitment to โ€œExcellent Customer Experience, Innovative Flo Solutions.โ€
  • Gather pertinent customer intelligence related to pricing, specifications, and market trends
  • Liaise with Sales colleagues to share information and optimize efforts
  • Ensure โ€œclean startsโ€ to all orders by fully defining requirements, timelines, and expectations for work in advance of order acceptance
  • Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with a) executed master service agreements, b) the Company general terms and conditions of sale, or c) negotiated terms consistent with the Company risk policy
  • Provide guidance/instruction, ensure completeness and accuracy, and be customer focal point for RFQ inquiries
  • Ensure that Company interests, proprietary and confidential information, and property are protected
  • Maintain a high level of technical understanding of Master Flo product lines and make presentations accordingly
  • Complete regular and detailed sales reports, updates to target account plans, and updates to contact databases
  • Action any issues with respect to customer concerns, complaints, scope change, etc. prior to order placement
  • Ensure customer accounts are paid/financially current
  • Coordinate and represent Company at industry gatherings as required
  • Provide input to product development initiatives
  • Other duties as may be required

Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high level of self-motivation, strong self-organization, and time management abilities
  • Post-Secondary education or equivalent amount of experience and education
  • Minimum 5 years technical sales experience in the oil and gas industry, with a proven track record for penetrating markets and effective customer relations
  • Knowledge of production chokes, specialty control valves, actuation, and industry applications
  • Expertise in coordinating bid and proposal activity
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team player within and across reporting lines
  • Able to work independently, but know when to request timely support
  • Ability to travel domestically in the USA
  • Proficient in office communications and software, including presentation tools
  • A demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
