Job description

Quality Control Manager / Warranty Technician – South Atlanta

Valor Communities is growing in the South Atlanta market, and we’re looking for an experienced, customer-focused Quality Control Manager / Warranty Technician to join our team.

This dual role is ideal for someone who understands residential construction, has a strong eye for quality, and is equally comfortable walking a jobsite, completing minor repairs, and working directly with homeowners.

What You’ll Do

Quality Control

  • Inspect new homes throughout construction and prior to closing to ensure they meet Valor’s quality standards.
  • Identify workmanship, completion, and quality concerns before they reach the homeowner.
  • Work closely with Builders and trade partners to correct issues promptly.
  • Track inspection items and follow through to completion.
  • Help maintain consistent quality standards across our South Atlanta communities.

Warranty & Homeowner Service

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for homeowners regarding warranty concerns.
  • Evaluate warranty requests and determine appropriate next steps.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners and help resolve concerns calmly and effectively.
  • Coordinate trade partners and vendors to complete warranty repairs.
  • Perform minor hands-on repairs when appropriate, including drywall repairs, paint touch-ups, adjustments, and other small warranty items.
  • Follow up to ensure repairs are completed correctly and homeowners receive a high level of service.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in residential construction, homebuilding, quality control, warranty, or customer service.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, workmanship standards, and common residential warranty issues.
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to handle difficult homeowner conversations professionally and work toward practical resolutions.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Comfortable managing multiple homes, warranty items, trade partners, and deadlines.
  • Hands-on ability to complete minor repairs, including drywall and paint touch-ups.
  • Must have your own basic tools.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel between communities throughout the South Atlanta area.
  • Dependable, accountable, and able to work independently in the field.

Why Join Valor Communities?

Valor Communities is committed to building quality homes and providing an exceptional experience for our homeowners. We offer:

  • Base salary of $55,000–$65,000
  • Bonus opportunities
  • Estimated total compensation of $75,000–$100,000+
  • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance options
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off
  • Opportunities for professional growth and advancement
  • A collaborative team environment where quality and customer satisfaction matter

If you have residential construction experience, take pride in getting the details right, and enjoy helping homeowners, we’d love to hear from you.
