WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Interim Store Manager to lead our Cabazon Outlet Boutique during a leave of absence coverage. This is a 6+ month contract assignment with the potential to continue based on business needs. The ideal candidate will bring strong luxury retail leadership experience, a passion for client service, and a proven ability to drive sales, develop teams, and uphold brand standards.

We offer a base salary range of $110,000-$120,000, based on experience. Compensation is subject to change and may be adjusted in accordance with business needs and market conditions. This is an excellent opportunity to make an immediate impact while leading a high-performing boutique team in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsiblities:Network Development and Brand Ambassador:
  • Ensure excellence in the in-store experience by maintaining a strong front-of-house presence and fostering a “couture service” mindset.
  • Lead the Boutique team by coaching, motivating, and supporting them to ensure effective adoption and understanding of company strategies.
  • Consistently embody Valentino’s values and actively engage the local community with the brand.
  • Attract and recruit new clients from personal network and external partners.
  • Establish a goal-oriented selling culture focused on Clienteling; relationship selling, building a client base, and providing exceptional service to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
Business and Sales Performance:
  • Drive and maximize sales performance to consistently achieve the overall sales target objectives while ensuring operational integrity and monthly profitable plans.
  • Regularly analyze and monitor store KPIs, devising and implementing robust action plans to meet and exceed targets.
  • Develop an annual store strategy, reviewed quarterly, to align with broader company objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the seamless execution of business plans.
  • Identify and capitalize on performance-enhancing opportunities through strategic partnerships with corporate stakeholders.
  • Manage personnel expenses within budgetary constraints and adhere to discounting policies to preserve brand integrity.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising and Buying team to ensure relevant products are available to drive revenue.
  • Report weekly to the Valentino Leadership team on sales trends and opportunities to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Foster a motivating and inclusive environment that values diversity, and teamwork.
  • Provide constructive feedback and manage conflict with courage and professionalism taking partnership with Retail Director & HRBP.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to support development and succession planning.
  • Ensure adherence to high standards of professionalism, and operational excellence.
  • Set and monitor SMART goals, optimize staffing schedules, and comply with labor regulations.
  • Facilitate effective communication through morning briefings, products, and CRM training.
  • Foster a high-performing team through effective talent retention, recruitment, and career development, in collaboration with HR.
  • Lead all recruitment efforts in the store, partnering closely with HR & Talent Acquisition.
  • Plan and organize team activities, ensuring daily execution meets standards.
  • Maintain a positive, safe work environment and handle personnel issues in accordance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Conduct regular store meetings to keep the team informed about performance and sales objectives.
  • Set and ensure achievement of both quantitative and qualitative team objectives.
CRM and Events Management:
  • Enhance client experience through proactive sales monitoring and adherence to Valentino’s Client Journey standards.
  • Implement clienteling strategies to engage and retain clients, leveraging digital tools effectively.
  • Cultivate external relations to promote brand loyalty and expand the client network.
  • Manage the client database and execute direct marketing actions as per CRM guidelines.
  • Support the Team manager in handling sensitive sales and after-sales situations ensuring adherence to company procedures.
  • Stay updated on HQs and corporate strategy to foster meaningful customer relationships.
  • Develop a robust client development strategy to foster meaningful customer relationships.
  • Participate in local partnerships and community events to increase brand visibility and expand market research.
Store Operations and Merchandise:
  • Maintain proficiency in operational policies to optimize store performance and minimize loss.
  • Actively take part in executing operational tasks (including shipping/receiving) in times of critical need and peak season(s).
  • Oversee end of season returns, product transfers, and inventory management.
  • Manage cash and payment systems ensuring compliance with company policies. procedures and policies.
  • Facilitate store accountancy audits and uphold administration procedures.
  • Ensure store maintenance and efficiency of furnishings and equipment.
  • Monitor and ensure product rotation to optimize sales potential, collaborating closely with Merchandising/Buying teams for support.
  • Liaise with Visual Merchandising team to implement effective visual strategies per HQ guidelines.
  • Ensure visual standards align with sales strategies and report effectiveness.
  • Maintain order and cleanliness of windows and internal displays.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred not required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Store Management or leadership role.
  • Preferred not required Luxury Department store management experience.
  • Proven record of accomplishment in achieving results team development.
  • Excellent knowledge in product and client journey
  • Strong business acumen, understanding of store and team performance and KPI’s.
  • Proactive in identifying business opportunities and propose action plans.
  • Has positive and effective team management skills, motivates team.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up and time management skills.
  • Demonstrates confidence and ability to develop relationships with clients, team, and the business.
  • Clear and concise communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Prioritizes tasks effectively.
