Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical function, mobility, and needs, utilizing evidence-based orthopedic practices.
• Develop customized treatment plans that align with the individual goals and therapeutic needs of each patient, ensuring a clear path to recovery.
• Administer and monitor a range of orthopedic physical therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities for pain relief.
• Educate patients and their families about injuries, treatment options, and home exercises to promote recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Document patient progress and adjustments to treatment plans in compliance with professional and organizational standards.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation technicians, providing guidance to ensure high standards of care are met.
• Foster a positive patient environment focused on safety, comfort, and personalized attention, enhancing overall patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist role primarily involves working with adolescents, adults, and older adults who are undergoing rehabilitation for various orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain management. In some specialized roles, you may also engage in pediatric care, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of younger patients.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy.
• Active state licensure or certification to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy, demonstrating proficiency in evaluation, treatment planning, and rehabilitation techniques.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Preferred Experience

• CPR certification is strongly preferred unless otherwise defined by Tria Orthopedics policies.
• Experience with specific orthopedic methodologies and technologies relevant to rehabilitation.
• Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a rehabilitation setting is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Tria Orthopedics offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
