Vitality Wellness Therapeutic Clinic is a community health clinic located in Aurora, Illinois, specializing in comprehensive mental health services. Our outpatient facility is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment tailored to meet the needs of trauma survivors. We focus on treating a range of conditions, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our comprehensive, patient-centered approach ensures that we deliver quality care while fostering resilience and empowerment among our clients.

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to provide therapy from a space that is comfortable for you while maintaining direct support for patients through virtual platforms. Our collaborative team consists of well-trained professionals who are committed to trauma-informed care, and we utilize various digital tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate seamless communication and case management.

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to identify each patient's unique trauma history and tailor treatment strategies accordingly.
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery while integrating evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe and nurturing environment for patients to explore their feelings, process trauma, and cultivate coping strategies.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated care and comprehensive support for patients’ mental health needs.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely and effective assistance.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available therapeutic resources, enhancing their understanding and empowerment.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of patient records.
• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to enhance collective knowledge about trauma-informed care approaches.
• Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and advancements in trauma therapy to continually refine and improve therapeutic techniques.

The focus of this role is primarily on clients who have experienced significant trauma. You will work with individuals from diverse backgrounds dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and associated mental health challenges. Your empathetic understanding and specialized interventions will help empower them to reclaim their narratives and foster healing.

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT within the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health setting is preferred.
• Strong familiarity with trauma-related disorders and proven expertise in trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated experience applying trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
• Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations, maintaining a focus on patient well-being.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications for documentation and patient management.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, fostering a supportive environment for both colleagues and patients.

Preference will be given to candidates with extensive clinical experience in trauma-informed care, familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, and a history of positively impacting client outcomes.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to the attractive salary, our benefits package includes:
