Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Project Manager at TorontoAI-oi. The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project delivery, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring progress against milestones, budget, and scope. Daily responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, organizing and leading project meetings, managing risks and issues, and maintaining clear documentation. The person in this role will track tasks and dependencies, ensure timely expediting of critical deliverables, and liaise with stakeholders to align requirements and expectations. Additional duties include managing logistics for project resources, supporting inspection and quality checks, reporting status to leadership, and driving continuous process improvements.
Qualifications
  • Strong project leadership capabilities, including Project Management experience with planning, execution, and risk control.
  • Hands-on experience with Expeditor and Expediting activities to ensure timely delivery of materials, information, and key project outputs.
  • Background in Inspection and quality assurance to verify project deliverables meet defined standards and requirements.
  • Practical knowledge of Logistics Management to coordinate resources, timelines, and dependencies across remote teams and vendors.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar) and standard frameworks (Agile, Scrum, or waterfall).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex information for diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects or work streams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, collaborate across time zones, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business, information technology) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in technology or AI-related projects is an asset, as is familiarity with data-driven decision-making and process optimization.
